The Art of Partnership exists thanks to the miracle of two humans who love love, choosing one another. Vince & Karen are the living embodiment of the Art of Partnership.

Vince Chafin
With over twenty years of experience in men’s work, Vince has served as a trainer, facilitator, and speaker with organizations such as Sacred Sons and the ManKind Project. His approach integrates Gestalt, Family Systems, somatic and bioenergetic therapies, NLP, Family Constellation, Shadow Work, and depth psychology. He has led work with Indigenous communities at Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and taught internationally across Europe and Canada.
Yet what distinguishes his work is not credentials alone, but embodiment. Vince’s own path through failed relationships, attachment wounds, and long-term healing informs a teaching style that is calm, attuned, and results oriented.
Together, he and Karen create a container where couples feel held rather than judged—where emotional safety is established, nervous systems can settle, and trust is built through consistency and repair. Their work invites couples into a form of partnership where security, intimacy, and mutual respect are not ideals, but practiced skills.
Vince lives off the grid in the middle of a nature Conservancy, two hours north of Los Angeles. With four cats, hordes of wild turkeys, frogs, hummingbirds and the occasional bear for company, he is six years into planting a food forest where he and his beloved Karen lead workshops, trainings and retreats.

Karen Strassman
Passionate about the human condition and the transformative power of storytelling, Karen has spent her life immersed in the healing arts, theatre, psychology, philosophy, sacred ceremony and human development. As an actor, director, producer and coach, Karen collaborates with artists all around the world exploring and delving into the human condition. She leads classes and workshops inspiring people to access their own light, vulnerability, power, and brilliance.
As Karen found herself in a plethora of dysfunctional romantic relationships, she has spent quite a lot of time exploring and understanding her part in these tangos, and working to understand and heal her own ancestral wounds and patterns.
An avid student of Alison Armstrong's work for over 20 years, Karen continues to fall more deeply in love with men and the unsung beauty of the differences between the sexes.
In the latter part of her life, Karen settled into a wonderful sense of peace and simplicity in the “single life” with her cat Juno. Then, quite unexpectedly, she met Vince…and stepped into an experience of love beyond what she ever imagined possible. Together, she and Vince have been applying all the hard won wisdom and skills they have accumulated, co-creating the partnership of their dreams. Now, one of her greatest joys is helping others create the same kind of freedom, connection and ease that she shares with her beloved. -

Loghan Call
Loghan Call is in service to the Art of Partnership as a shepherd. Ensuring that all the systems, humans and technology is running, connected and supported. Loghan oversees all of the details of the Art of Partnership so Vince and Karen can focus on creating and sharing the tools and wisdom.
Outside of the Art of Partnership Loghan is actively engaged in men’s work and daily accountability through his community in Traverse City, Michigan and online with his daily accountability platform: Men of Devotion.
He is dedicated to being of service to his mission of supporting men showing up everyday for themselves and other men, and cultivating understanding between men and women.
This is a third chapter in his entrepreneurial journey that has spanned media (Emmy award winning producer), non-alcoholic spirits and the culinary arts. The latter of which, he brings to many of the weekends that Vince & Karen lead.
Outside of men’s and women’s work, Loghan is blessed to enjoy the beauty of Northern Michigan, his partner Emma and his cat Umami. He’ll likely never turn down a round of golf, dinner parties & game nights with friends, working on the land he stewards or the opportunity to keep exploring this wild & magical mystery that is life.
